With a large fleet of canoes, river and sea kayaks to cater for up to 80 people on the water at once you are bound to find a boat you like!
Canoe or sit-on-top (SOT) kayak hire is available 7 days a week for use at Shaw’s Bridge, Belfast (subject to availability). Full payment will be required in advance by either paying online or contacting the office to pay over the phone. Hire cost includes Buoyancy Aids, Paddles and a member of staff with some quick tips, safety brief and coaching if required before you set off. Here’s what’s available:

- Single Sit on top kayaks (SOT) Hire (Min 2 people for safety reasons)
- 2 hours on the water at Shaw’s Bridge, Belfast
- Hire includes all equipment; paddle, buoyancy aid and boat. We recommend that you wear warm comfortable clothing suitable for the weather conditions on the day and footwear that may get wet
- Costs from £20pp based on a minimum of two people. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult over 18 years.
We also have single and double sea kayaks available for hire to enjoy on any of the many great canoe trails within Northern Ireland. If you wish to paddle any of the canoe trails, please contact us for any local advice or knowledge. We don’t always hire sea kayaks or canoes to inexperienced individuals or groups for safety reason on the sea. Individuals will need to prove that they have the relevant experience or attend a training course with Mobile Team Adventure.

The majority of our canoes and kayaks are made by Pyranha kayaks in Runcorn, England and are approximately 25% recycled plastic. We replace our stock on a regular basis so you can guarantee up-to-date modern canoes and kayaks.
Our paddles are supplied by Ainsworth Paddles, Twickenham, England and are an excellent brand.
Terms and Conditions
To reserve the boats, payment will be required in full, unless a non-refundable part payment is agreed in advance.
We would require full payment before any boats are taken and we may ask for a photo copy of a valid driving license or passport along with a Visa Card. Originals may also need to be viewed and held whilst you are away.
Each person will need to complete a Mobile Team Adventure Health & Safety Medical Disclaimer/Hire Form which will be sent out on receipt of payment.
All equipment must be returned at the agreed time and in the condition that it was hired.
Every possible precaution must be taken to avoid damage or lose of equipment. Any loss or damage must be paid for.
Minimum of 2 adults
Anyone hiring equipment does so at their own risk and must realise their own ability and experience.
Shooting of weirs or rapids is NOT permitted. We will reserve the canoe/kayak hire for 7 days whilst waiting for a non-refundable part payment.
