Raft Building

The perfect team building activity that will bring out the ingenuity and creativity in your staff.

Raft building can either be a stand-alone event or perfect for a finale by bringing everyone together at the end as the final challenge of the day.

Not everyone wants to get wet and just like a football team, lots of different skills are required, not everyone will need to go afloat if they don’t want to. With a fun, engaging, energetic session teams will be encouraged to compete in challenges to earn equipment to then build their own raft. Racing against the clock, each team will have to design and build their own raft using barrels, planks and ropes. The raft they build is then put to the test on the water with the desired number of participants.

This is where trust comes into play with your fellow colleagues; let’s hope it floats! Depending upon numbers either a head to head race or team relay will see who can paddle their raft around a course and find out which is the Titanic or the SS Triumphant!
